Position: Purchase Manager Location: Chennai Industry: Medical Equipment Manufacturing Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for a medical equipment manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials at competitive prices and ensuring timely availability of materials. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors. Raise purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules. Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance. Ensure materials meet quality and company specifications. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and stores teams. Control purchase costs and maintain proper procurement documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in BE& Diploma ( EEE,ECE,E&I)Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in medical equipment or manufacturing. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills. Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office, and procurement processes.
