BE (Mechanical) (or) Diploma (Mechanical)
· Product Design & Development: Design new products or improve existing ones, from initial concept to production. · CAD Proficiency: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD and Solid works) to create detailed drawings, models, and specifications. · Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing and marketing) to ensure designs meet requirements and are feasible to produce. · Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design processes, specifications, and testing results. · Problem Solving: Identify and solve design problems, ensuring products meet specifications and comply with safety standards. · Project Management: May be responsible for managing project timelines and budgets. · Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies. Skills and Qualifications: · Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of engineering principles and design standards, and an understanding of manufacturing processes. · Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. · Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering in Mechanical. · Experience: May require relevant experience (not less than a year) as a Design Engineer or in a related role.
